Whether you wish to be a serious athlete and try all the events that athletics has to offer, or just run to get fit and have fun, then Dudley and Stourbridge Harriers (DASH) is the club for you. We cater for all disciplines and levels of experience and talent - with over 250 members aged from 9 to 70.

Benefits of Becoming a Member

  • Weekly coaching from UKA-qualified coaches

  • Training and competing with other Club athletes

  • Discounts on sports equipment, physiotherapy and race entry fees

  • Access to all levels of competition up to national standard

  • The friendship and social side that everyone gains from being a member (for forthcoming social activities - skittles, quiz nights and other events - please see the News page).

We offer coaching, training and competition in all disciplines: sprinting; hurdling; middle distance; all field events; road running; cross country, and race walking. The Youth, Junior, Senior and Veteran athletes compete in a wide range of events on the track in regional and national leagues in the summer, as do the cross-country and race-walking teams in the winter.  All compete in the County, Area and National championships, achieving a great deal of success for the Club.

Members competing in the Club's colours travel all over the UK and take part in a wide variety of local and national events, including the the London Marathon and the Great North Run.

The Club runs a special reception group for younger members. Children from 9 to 11 can try all aspects of athletics while having fun in a safe environment. Some compete on the track, cross-country and indoor sports hall in the winter. As they develop, our young members can move on to more specialist training squads.

All Club Coaches, Officials, Volunteers and Administrators, work to the DASH Code of Conduct.

If you would like to join the club, Membership Forms are available from the Secretary.
